It is I, The HUSBAND!!! My wife did not sign out while using the computer. I decided that it was time to put a new post on MY site, and when I logged in, low and behold, I see that I am now typing in Her SPOT!!! Hehehe! What should I say??? Good question.
My wife is not the concert going type. I don't think it's important to her. I never got to go as a kid to any concerts. I did see Richard Marx at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City one summer. That doesn't count. First REAL concert was just last year. I got to see the FANTASTIC GARTH BROOKS put on a near two and a half hour show! Only thing was that I went on my own. My wife was not able to go with me. Second of all, it was in Kansas City. He was only doing the concert there. Ended up doing 9 shows in nine nights. Tee shirts said, "the cat in the hat, has nine lives, in Kansas City!" If you ever see the Garth Brooks, One City, One Night concert on GAC, I was actually there!!! Way up top! If you want to see some pics, go to my page and I will post them!!! It was a great time though.
Well, I bring this up, because I am going to be going to see COLDPLAY in Houston, Texas in November!!! I really am excited about it. But I know that I will be even more so, when the time gets closer. But I am bringing Dawn with me this time. The Garth concert was fun, but I was all alone. I didn't have anyone with me to enjoy it. Dawn Loves Garth, and she likes Coldplay. So I am hoping that she will have a good time. I know I will. It'll be cool to actually know what they are singing. Garth, I knew some of it, but not all. The girl next to me at one point yelled "you're supposed to sing along!!!" I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled.
Well, that's enough of my time here! Check out my awesome BLOG at: http://cartoontesams.blogspot.com
to get the awesomeness to soak into your soul!!! Peace out Homies!!!

Band-Aids
I have often bought band-aids thinking, "These will last a while so I don't mind the price." I buy a small box of 35 for around $1.35. I bring them home and never see the box again. But I do see the contents of the box every once in a while. To a child a band-aid is a fascinating thing. They learn that when you prick yourself you can put a little band-aid on it to make it not bleed. They also learn that when they have a blister they can put the band-aid on it to protect it. So they have figured out that band-aids are comfort measures when they are hurt. A few weeks ago I was cleaning my daughters room. I noticed the humongous amount of stuffed animals or "snuggle buddies" as we call them piled up on the floor where I could not help but step all over them. Thinking, as moms often do, "ah ha I will use some silly psychology to get them to keep their toys off the floor." (We try everything) I acted like their snuggle buddies were hurt by being on the floor and stepped on by people. They had sound effects I created, "Bwhaaaa, and Boo Hoo, and Whaaa, and NOOO" But it was a little fun humor and the girls picked them up. I bought some more band-aids shortly after that usually because they disappear and I never know where they are. Now almost every day I see snuggle buddies covered in band-aids. They are still on the floor, oh yes, but their "discomfort" is now remedied with a small piece of gauze and plastic. :)
